I am a native of Greenville, SC. I hold a BA in History from Winthrop University (1992) along with a MAT in History from the University of South Carolina (1996). After 12 years as an educator I answered God’s call on my life and entered the ministry. As such, I graduated from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary with a M. Div. in May of 2015. God has blessed me to serve as pastor for Wesley United Methodist Church-Aiken from 2012-2015 and I currently serve as Associate Pastor for Hibbens United Methodist Church in Mount Pleasant, SC.
I am constantly amazed by the grace of God and the many blessings that have come my way throughout my life. I am thankful for my wife Toni and our two daughters. I am blessed to serve God’s people and pray that I am constantly living according to God’s will for my life. I enjoy listening to music, walking, reading, and just spending time with my family.
I pray that this blog will be a blessing to those who read it.
Grace and Peace,
I am a native of Darlington, SC. I hold a BA in Music from South Carolina State University (2013), along with a MAR in Homiletics from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary of Lenoir- Rhyne University in May 2016. I enjoy playing golf, drums, and piano. Music is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. God has graciously blessed me with many opportunities to mentor and speak to various groups of young people. I currently serve as a musician at the Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Darlington, SC. “If I can help somebody as I pass along, if I can cheer somebody with a well song, if I can show somebody he’s traveling wrong, then my living will not be in vain.”- Martin Luther King Jr.
