“How do we theologically deal with the pink elephant in the room?”-Brian Foulks
Brian Foulks is a pastor, church planter, an urban missionary, and a motivational speaker. He is known for invading the culture with the truth of the scripture. He is a cultural hybrid who connects the seminary with the community and speaks for the marginalized who are trapped in the clutches of poverty and racism. He has a B.S. in Recreational Therapy from Benedict College . He also has a Master of Art in Theological Studies with emphasis in church planting. He has also earned Master of Religion and Master of Sacred Theology at Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary of Lenoir-Rhyne University. His thesis was a perspective of how black rage impacts how God is viewed in the black community. He is currently a Ph.D. student at Chicago Theological Seminary. He also blogs at Rhetoric Race and Religion ,Think Theology and Love Sees Color.
He is married to Vanessa Singleton Foulks.
